So last night Foxy Brown was scheduled to come to a recording session in NY but the word scheduled didn’t apply in this case.
The artist, known for her solo work, collaborations with other artists and her brief stint as part of hip-hop music group The Firm, was 4hrs late! What?! I’m sure there was good reason for the 4 hr delay but I’m thinking Brown is still living up to her name as the Brooklyn Don Diva. Good news is she was dealing with one of the best labs in NY and the engineers were so on point that she now insists on working with them regularly. So shout out to HeavyRoc Music not only for your skills but your patience ;) www.heavyrocmusic.com
Also in the studio last night was Lil Fame, and unlike Miss Brown, Fame was on-time and really did his thing. I had the pleasure of seeing him perfect an ill verse in less than an hr and then just going about his business.
Women are so difficult! It’s all good Foxy, I’m actually just hating cause I didn’t get the chance to see you do YOUR thing too. When you’re Brooklyn raised you gotta have love for the Don Diva.
